Who doesn’t have a closet full of tapes loaded with memories and home movies? Too often we take the time to collect these memories, but never take the time to enjoy them because it’s a pain to dig everything out and go through it.

No more digging through boxes to find a label on a tape, now you can just browse through your videos at will and watch what you want when you want.
Most computers already have software on them to edit and put music to your home videos. Once you have your videos captured to disk, you can then easily do the fun part, make that special gift for friends and family. Nothing is more precious than a home movie compiled of special clips from those special times.
Purple Pine currently supports VHS, 8MM tape, and mini DV. If you have a format that is not listed, but you are interested in this service, drop us a request, we will do our best to obtain the appropriate equipment to perform the transfer.

If you have the time and the desire to capture your own videos but you just aren’t sure how to go about it, Purple Pine can show you how, we will evaluate your PC and show you how to capture your video. Watch that disk space! Capturing video at the best quality eats up a lot of hard drive space fast, make sure that you have enough empty space before you start. If your computer just doesn’t have a large enough hard drive, no problem, we can either install a larger faster hard drive in your computer, or provide you with an external hard drive capable of holding all of your video.
